Sacramento Public Library Foundation Celebration 955 event collateral

The Persian Night gala and auction, targeting the area’s Iranian community, commemorated the tenth anniversary of the Sacramento Public Library’s Persian Language Program. We were charged with branding the event and creating all invitations, programs and promotional materials. We named the event “Celebration 955” in reference to the Dewey decimal classification number for Iranian literature. Even though Celebration 955 was a pro bono project, we did extensive research into all things Persian: symbols, typography, traditional colors and design motifs, to assure that our finished products richly represented the culture. The event was a huge success, grossing $110,000 for library programs.
