These vibrant icons for the California Hospital Association were created to illustrate a special section of the association’s site, dedicated to election topics. The brightly-colored graphics provided timely and topical interest.

Our brochure for the California Institute for the Study of Specialty Crops used illustration to demonstrate the institute’s dedication to specialty crops without undue emphasis on any single crop. The delicate botanical sketches are an artist’s tribute to nature.

City of Sacramento’s Department Annual Report

The City of Sacramento’s Department of Convention, Culture and Leisure (DCCL), which operates such facilities as the Crocker Art Museum, Fairytale Town and the Sacramento Zoo, wanted its 2004/2005 annual report to convey “fun.” The budget? Pretty minimal. We developed a playful piece peppered with Wallrich Landi-created illustration, dingbats and all manner of graphic fol-de-rol, that practically begged the reader to come out and play.

Sacramento SPCA Reigning Cats and Dogs Gala collateral

How do you attract attention and promote attendance at the annual SPCA benefit? With dancing dogs and cats of course! Our design concept uses imagery that relates to pets and royalty, while a restrained color palette and playful vintage textbook illustration theme convey the fun and purpose of this gala event.

This image illustrates our designer’s ability to create complex images that engage interest as well as promote positioning. The sense of motion explored in this direct mail piece sends out a real buzz.
Wallrich Landi holiday card

This accordion-fold holiday card was designed as a greeting for clients, but doubled as a series of four perforated, seasonal postcards that could be used by recipients as well. Whimsical illustrations and type combined with custom images were used to create a custom, mixed-medium piece of artwork with a fine-art look-and-feel. The piece was mailed in translucent, green square envelopes as a final touch.
