“From a young age I was intrigued with the way things worked. I constantly tinkered with old toys, broken radios and anything else I could get my hands on. I loved to examine the small details that play such a big role in how things function. As I got older the toys became computers, programs, Web sites and designs. The same passion I had for fixing broken toys is still what drives me to create today. Except now I’m a bit older and instead of just tinkering with things, I make them work.”

“My parents bought me my first computer at age seven, I started programming not long after that and I have been programming ever since. Programming is really an expression of a solution to a problem. Your code represents your thought process to solve a particular problem given a set of constraints. I’m fortunate enough to have a career that allows me to document my thoughts and put them in a timeline that allows me to watch how I have personally and professionally evolved.”

“I started programming when I was 13. I wrote simple programs using the display computers at department stores while my parents shopped. I finally convinced my parents to buy me a computer for Christmas that year, and I’ve added to my programming skills ever since. I love solving complex problems and modeling the real world through code. It’s great to have a career where I build bridges between man and machine.”

Randy comes to Wallrich Landi following a successful career in media advertising sales. Working with the Sacramento Bee, Clear Channel Communications and Sacramento News and Review, and even running his own small advertising agency, Seevers knows how to listen actively, plan intelligently and execute effectively. In addition to working at Wallrich Landi, Randy serves as the Executive Director of Runnin’ for Rhett Foundation (www.runninforrhett.org), a local nonprofit started after his son passed away in 2004 due to complications from cerebral palsy. The foundation has grown into a successful health and fitness group, motivating people to get off the couch and “move into life.

“I have loved to draw, write and organize things since kindergarten. In college I discovered these skills had a practical career application, to the great relief of my parents. The communications realm is exciting to me because it’s full of change. We’re always meeting new people; solving new problems; exploring new techniques, media and technology. It’s also satisfying to see your ideas come to life every day, with the chance to make a positive difference for your client.”
